Heat Energy Recovery

To increase the efficiency of any power driven system, its wasted energy needs to be recovered. Most buildings and/or industrial facilities are prime candidates for some form of energy recovery.

There are many forms, equipment and methods for energy recovery. The most common are exhaust systems. Other candidates include products of combustions from boilers, and cogeneration engines.

In fact, cogeneration is not economically possible, in most cases, if a heat recovery strategy is not implemented along with installation. The following pages have heat recovery schematic for both boilers and cogenerators.
